As the Valley of Death Becomes Us

Hi All,

We have a lot of news for our next record, tentatively titled: As the Valley of Death Becomes Us, Our Silver Memories Fade.

First, recording begins on January 25th with Joel Hamilton at Studio G in Brooklyn, NY. The record consists of ten
songs, with a lot of variety on the album. Words that come to mind are, shorter, faster, heavier, catchier. There are
also some very cool guests in the works. Keep checking back for more details.

Next, we are switching things up a bit with this release. Profound Lore will be putting out the North American and UK versions
of the CD, while Burning World Records (run by the infamous Roadburn Festival curators Jurgen and Walter) will be putting
out the European CD, and the worldwide Double LP.

We're looking at a May 2011 release, and will let you know specifics soon.

Finally, some of the album's artwork will be revealed at the end of January...it's going to be pretty intense this time around, pushing some boundaries.

More soon.

Cheers,
Storm

12-30-09 Review

Thanks to Coalesce for having us. We had a great time, amazing lineup.

Thanks Trashman.

"A Storm Of Light are as close to being as un-self consciously post everything as any band I've seen this year. Heavy, devastating, beautiful, ironic, Spiritually sparse and yet expansive. They reminded me of what The Velvet Underground might sound like if they had begun in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2007, rather than downtown, Manhattan in the late 60's. Adjectives seem inept. Much more meaningful are these images. They are as equally beautiful on record." - http://trashmansreader.blogspot.com
